Transformer Cabins and MT
TRANSFORMATION CABINS
Our company deals with the construction and maintenance of medium voltage transformer cabins, in compliance with current regulations.
The construction solution we use for the transformation cabins is that of the cabin built on site or pre-assembled using prefabricated equipment in accordance with the Standard
CEI EN 62271-200 product. This solution allows you to configure the
cabin to customer specifications by adopting the most suitable scheme. The
various functional units can be combined with each other and offer different
functions:
The cabins can be equipped with vacuum or SF6 (sulfur hexafluoride) medium circuit breakers.
COMPLIANCE WITH CEI 0-16 STANDARD
We carry out the adaptation to the CEI 0-16 standard and the related declaration of adequacy, which in addition to contributing to the increase in the quality of the electricity supply for all users connected to the network, brings advantages for the user himself:
– recognition of a refund in case of failure to comply with the maximum times for restoring power (prolonged interruption)
– recognition of automatic compensation in case of failure to comply with specific levels of network continuity
– interruption of the application of the CTS and CTSM (Increased Specific Tariff Fee) starting from the date of delivery of the declaration of adequacy
The CTS is a penalty charge, charged on the electricity bill, which has a variable amount, depending on the power of the system. It is regulated by resolution ARG/elt 198/11 (in which the provisions previously reported in Annex A to resolution no. 333/07 have been incorporated) and resolution ARG/elt 33/08
TRANSFORMERS
All the transformers present in our warehouses and used are insulated in resin or in oil depending on the customer’s needs.
ACCESSORIES FOR INSTALLATIONS
Our company is able to supply the following components:
– Cables and MT terminal packaging
– Ventilation bars for resin transformers
– Replacement of control units and temperature probes on
resin transformers
– Installation of voltage transformers (TV) for active customers
PERIODIC AND EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE
MAINTENANCE OF TRANSFORMATION CABINS
The purpose of periodic maintenance is to ensure the correct functioning of the systems and to minimize the frequency of failures, so that they can be
reduce service interruption times and, consequently, avoid economic damage to the company.
Another aspect to consider is the protection of workers’ health and safety, as established by art. 15, letter z of Legislative Decree 81/08.
Specifically, the current regulations, such as Legislative Decree 81/08 and subsequent amendments and Ministerial Decree 37/08, place the responsibility of the company employer for the “regular maintenance of
electrical systems”, with particular attention to electrical cabins.
We are able to satisfy requests relating to different types of maintenance and to operate in cabins of various manufacturers and on protection systems.
general such as ABB, SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, THYTRONIC and MICROELECTRIC SCIENTIFIC.
In the case of cabins with oil-insulated transformers, we can carry out analyses to verify the dielectric strength, acidity, dissolved humidity and any
presence of PCBs.
At the end of the maintenance, the maintenance file is issued as required by the CEI 78-17 standard, Annex C.
